TIG approached me with a fun idea in collaboration with Cowshed Collective: creating a colourful, quirky world to pair with celebrity interviews. My role was to break down the stories and bring them to life through illustration. The result was a surreal, wacky universe that gave me plenty of space to push my creative limits. Across the campaign, we produced four films, each narrated by a different celebrity.

Because of tight timelines, we skipped the traditional storyboarding stage and instead worked directly from locked interview edits. This meant identifying the standout moments and translating them into bold illustrated scenes.
Before diving into scene work, we refined the overall drawing style and character look. Each celebrity narrator was given their own illustrated character.
Scene & asset Design
Once the character designs were locked in, we focused on the scenes and supporting artwork. This project had me working closely with the animation team, often creating boards on the fly when they needed a different angle or extra assets. With tight deadlines, I had to limit drawing detail in favour of achieving a consistent look and keeping everything on track.
This project was a real playground for mixing illustration with storytelling. Working under pressure meant making quick, bold choices—and honestly, that only added to the fun. The result was a series of surreal, tongue-in-cheek worlds that matched the offbeat spirit of the interviews perfectly.
